The APEX FLEX is Orca’s most flexible wetsuit in their entire range, replacing the Alpha model. It is designed for the most technical swimmers, those who benefit from more flexibility and do not need extra buoyancy. The construction of the short, inverted zipper allows for a more elastic design. This, in combination with the most flexible materials in the market with the most hydrodynamic properties, make it the fastest wetsuit for the best open water swimmers.

This Orca wetsuit is made with YAMAMOTO 38, 39, 40 and even the most flexible 44 cell materials are used strategically throughout the wetsuit for maximum benefit. 38 cell, the most durable material, is used in the front thigh area, while 39 cell is utilized in the shin area. The more flexible 40 cell is used in the chest, back and underarms for ease of lung expansion and breathing (VFIT), as well as assisting in reach. The most flexible 44 cell material is used in the shoulders to allow for maximum shoulder rotation to allow for the utmost in freedom of movement and swim stroke range.

A short, inverted zip improves mobility through the back and shoulders, allowing for an unimpeded stroke that mimics the feel of wearing no wetsuit at all. Hydrolite panels ensure hassle-free removal, even when tired, while a Core Lateral Stabiliser prevents unwanted twisting to dial in your form. The Core Lateral is a system of panels located in the lower body that limits twisting, blocking your core. With this technology, you can maintain good technique for longer.

Lining in the neck area reduces the likelihood of chafing, while giving you extra comfort.
